Why is mcafee not a good AV?

I’ve heard a lot, on the web, that mcafee is an awful AV. I personaly, didn’t have too many issues with it. Only two, first of all it looks sketchy, outdated. Second of all the computrr can go to sleep while the scan is happening. Mcafee also wants you to use Yahoo, but it’s optional.

I want to know why exacly is mcafee bad? A lot of people say it, but don’t bring up why exacly.
